As COVID-19 continues to have an impact in Canada and around the world, Phelps Homes is closely monitoring the situation and working in accordance with the precautionary guidelines outlined by both government and health authorities.

Due to today’s announcement that Ontario’s State of Emergency will be extended an additional 28 days, please note that Phelps Homes has decided to continue to suspend all non-essential warranty service until May 12, 2020*. In accordance with the precautionary guidelines suggested by Health Canada, Tarion, and the Ministry of Health, Phelps Homes has decided to continue to suspend all non-essential warranty service until April 17, 2020*.

In response to the statement released by the Ontario government on Monday March 23, 2020, we will be continuing our operations as usual. Falling under the category of "essential", we remain open and available to service the needs of our clients & contractors. While recent measures may impact some of our business operations, we will be doing our best to ensure projects continue to move forward.

Please note that our Head Office, Sales Office, and Design Centre will be closed as of March 25,2020 and we will no longer be accepting appointment requests for our Sales Advisors or Design Consultants. If you have further questions regarding our business operations during this time, please email info@phelpshomes.com.

A Note to Homeowners

As a precaution to the risks associated with COVID-19, we are no longer conducting Framewalks or Pre-Delivery Inspections with homeowners. The Framewalk, and the corresponding work associated on-site, and PDIs will still be conducted, but will take place with only your Build Care Representative in attendance.  These steps are solely precautionary and will not impact the construction process.

Your Build Care Representative will conduct and document the Framewalk/PDI, and will send you a copy electronically. In addition, photos of your home will be taken and sent to you via email. If you have any questions or observations, please do not hesitate to contact your Build Care Representative.
